We are so happy to announce that we have another new Doctor joining our CVC Team!
Welcome Dr. McCratic!
We are so excited to have her on board. Her experience with integrative medicine, rehabilitation and chiropractic care are a huge asset to our hospital and patients.
Dr. McCratic graduated from University of Illinois college of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and has been practicing veterinary medicine ever since. Her love for animals started at the young age of 3 and has never veered from that course.
Her passion is integrative medicine - quality of life for geriatric/aged animals so that both they and their owners have a quality relationship. One of her main goals is preventative health at first puppy visit so we can start them off to a long and happy life together as pets and pet parent. She is also very passionate about stopping animal abuse. She has worked with Cook County Assistant states attorney Maria McCarthy to press charges against individuals that have abused animals.
Outside of the hospital she loves spending time with her husband and children, running, reading, crocheting, and walking her dogs. Dr. McCratic is also supportive of non profits like the Wounded Warrior Project and the Make a Wish Foundation. both her and her husband like to run marathons to raise awareness.
