Emergency & Urgent Care

Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open and will be triaged upon arrival. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us. It is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency and notify our medical team that you are on your way.

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion.

If you find that your pet is in need of urgent medical attention while we are closed, the following local emergency animal hospitals are who we recommend:

VCA Aurora Animal Hospital

2600 W Galena Blvd Aurora, IL 60506

630-301-6100

OR

Dundee Animal Hospital

199 Penny Ave East Dundee, IL 60118

847-428-6114

Both of these emergency clinics will send us a report of your pets visit so that we can follow up with you the next time we open.
